Bus Stop Over is pitched as being a family friendly VW Event located at Uttoxeter Racecourse in the Midlands. The event has grown from just 300 visitors in 2004 to well over 5,000 in 2011. The Bus Stop Over 2013 event is the 10th Bus Stop Over, each year bringing new attractions & improvements to the event.
Bus Stop Over was born out of an idea for a gathering of VW enthusiasts to chill out & enjoy themselves with their mates & family. There is always huge support from the VW Clubs at Bus Stop Over. At Bus Stop Over 2013 the organisers are providing camping plots with a frontage to promote your club.
Traders will be located in the centre course area on a large grass area in front of the camping area. Check out the Traders @ Bus Stop Over page to see who is going to be around. There is also a Free auto jumble, plots are available for all genuine sellers & clubs.
So what’s on? The main hall provides a fantastic mix of live bands playing all sorts of styles to suit every musical taste from cover versions to their own original material. In between all the live music you will have various DJ’s banging out the tunes to keep your feet moving.
2013 is the Bus Stop Over 10th birthday so they will be holding a party on the Saturday afternoon. There will be a prize for the wearer of the earliest Bus Stop Over t-shirt & maybe even some birthday cake!
